  • Engineering for Arglass plant in Georgia/USA in the final stages at EME
    07.11.2019
The EME technical departments are in the final stages with the process and detailed engineering for the new Greenfield plant in Georgia / US.

Arglass emphasized the importance that the new batch plant and cullet return system had to be designed with the best available technology and with a layout to provide for high quality, highly flexible and efficient production. EME is thus proud of the decision of Arglass to cooperate with EME on this exciting and challenging project.

The facility, with a production capacity over 125.000 tons per year, is situated in Valdosta, Georgia. The site work on the plant has already begun and the first shipments of the EME equipment are scheduled for end of Q1 2020. The furnace, supplied by EME’s sister company Nikolaus Sorg, is set to start up at the end of 2020 with full operation by Q1 2021.
