EME’s history spreads over a century. During this period we have thrived by creating pioneering technologies and innovations in the design and engineering of batch preparation plants, cullet handling equipment and batch charging technology.
Erkelenzer Maschinenfabrik GmbH (EME), a company specialising in material handling systems and equipment for the mining and bulk material industry, is founded.
The glass industry is expanding, increasing the demand for professional and automatic material handling systems. EME starts providing solutions for this sector.
The first pusher batch chargers are produced and start operating.
The first oscillating pusher chargers are produced and start operating.
EME delivers its first scraper with double chain
EME creates its first scraper with a single fork link chain.
EME joins the SORG Group
Preventive maintenance becomes an integrated part of EME’s control system.
EME installs the world’s first preheating system.
SORG develops the Batch 3 concept, integrating a preheating system, an IRD doghouse and an EME-NEND® S batch charger.
EME starts a partnership with Shanghai Precision, becoming even more competitive.
EME Maschinenfabrik Clasen GmbH rebrands to EME GmbH.
Remote commissioning becomes one of EME’s standard services.
EME’s app provides glassmakers with a digital dashboard and the ability to retrieve data.
