Foreign glass from collection bins contains contaminants like stones, metal, organics, plastic, etc. In the first phase of the process, coarse parts are removed manually. In the second phase, fe-metal, plastic parts, paper, bottle caps and NE-metal are removed by an automatic process. The oversized glass needs to be crushed and returned to the system.
